Winning the 2027 election will require more than enthusiasm on social media. It will require organisation, vigilance, sacrifice and millions of Nigerians taking personal responsibility for the future of our country.
Atiku Abubakar becoming Nigeria’s next President is not somebody else’s responsibility. It is our collective responsibility. You have a role to play. Play it. Shoulder it.
WHAT EVERY SUPPORTER MUST DO
- Be an Ambassador for Atiku. Speak positively and truthfully about his record, experience, vision and capacity to lead Nigeria.
- Mobilise your family and friends. Do not assume that others will vote. Talk to your relatives, neighbours, colleagues and community members.
- Build support in your Polling Unit. Know your Polling Unit, identify supporters and help create an organised network of committed voters.
- Take the message beyond social media. Go into communities, streets, markets and workplaces and listen to the concerns of ordinary Nigerians.
- Register and verify your PVC. Encourage eligible Nigerians to register and ensure their voter information is correct.
- Mobilise massively for election day. Help supporters get to their Polling Units and exercise their right to vote peacefully.
- Vote and stay. Do not cast your ballot and go home. Remain at the Polling Unit and observe the process until the result is properly recorded.
- Protect your vote. Follow the counting, documentation and transmission of results and ensure that the process is properly observed.
- Collect and preserve the Polling Unit result. Where entitled, obtain the appropriate signed result sheet and keep it safely.
- Monitor result transmission. Follow the lawful electronic transmission/upload of results and report genuine irregularities through the appropriate channels.
- Follow the process to collation. Election protection does not end at the Polling Unit. Stay informed about Ward, LGA and State collation.
- Counter misinformation. When false claims about Atiku or the election are circulated, respond with facts, evidence and maturity.
- Document irregularities responsibly. Record genuine incidents and preserve evidence. Never manufacture allegations or spread unverified information.
- Remain peaceful and disciplined. Be vigilant without provoking violence. Our mission is to strengthen democracy, not destroy it.
- Bring more people into the movement. Every supporter should aim to persuade and mobilise others to participate in the democratic process.
- Support the campaign with your time, skills and resources. Whether you can organise, write, design, communicate, mobilise or contribute, there is a role for you.
- Volunteer. Offer yourself for lawful campaign, voter education, mobilisation, media, research, logistics or election-observation activities.
- Stay committed until the end. Do not disappear after the rallies. The real test is sustained organisation, mobilisation and vigilance through election day and the lawful completion of the process.
YOUR ROLE MATTERS
You do not have to be a politician to make a difference.
You do not need to hold an office.
You do not need millions of naira.
You only need the willingness to contribute.
STAND UP.
MOBILISE.
REGISTER.
VOTE.
STAY.
OBSERVE.
DOCUMENT.
PROTECT YOUR VOTE.
FOLLOW THE PROCESS.
REMAIN PEACEFUL.
DO NOT GIVE UP.
Talk to one person.
Mobilise one family.
Organise one Polling Unit.
Persuade one voter.
Volunteer your skill.
Protect your vote.
Help protect democracy.
If millions of Nigerians shoulder their individual responsibilities, the collective result can change the direction of our country.
Atiku Abubakar can become Nigeria’s next President. And when that happens, the suffering Nigerian masses who have endured hardship for too long shall have cause to rejoice.
YOU HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY.
PLAY IT.
SHOULDER IT.
NIGERIA IS COUNTING ON YOU.
