GANI WOULD BE PROUD TODAY

The late Chief Gani Fawehinmi was the first man to raise the question of Tinubu’s academic qualifications. Long before it became a national conversation, that fearless human rights lawyer stood alone and asked what many were too afraid to ask.

Years have passed, but the question has refused to die. In 2023, Atiku Abubakar carried that same fight through the courts, all the way to a United States federal court, to compel the release of Tinubu’s Chicago State University records. And now, with INEC’s own published particulars once again showing no primary and no secondary school record for the President, the very gap Gani pointed to decades ago stares the nation in the face.

Somewhere, Gani is smiling. The struggle he began has not been abandoned. Rest in peace to a true defender of truth, whose courage still lights the path for those willing to walk it.

The Nigerian people deserve answers. Nothing more, nothing less.
